This gown is made in finest striped silk organza over a silk dupion underskirt.  The bodice of the gown is fully hand smocked, with matching smocking on the sleeves and the bonnet.  The use of embroidery on this gown is kept to a minimum (smocking only) to allow the beautiful fabric to be the focal point of the design. Further embroidery could be added to the gown by arrangement if desired.

This gown is made in Ivory striped silk organza fabric with an Ivory Silk Dupion underskirt.  The look of the gown could be changed by the use of a darker ecru underskirt (to give an antique look) or a pale pink underskirt (to give a soft rose look) or even a white underskirt which makes the gown appear almost white in colour.
